This paper will report on the second stage of a two-stage survey of the information-seeking behavior of the Latin American and Caribbean student members of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA). The first stage of the project surveyed the LASA student members residing in the United States and Puerto Rico. The second stage surveyed LASA student members residing in Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal of this project was to better understand how this diverse group of students does research, their comfort level with different kinds of research strategies, and their awareness of Latin America-specific research tools.
