12006 - Political projects of indigenous movements

This paper focuses on the political projects of indigenous movements, outlining the theoretical dimensions of the concept of "political project" and addressing issues related to mestizaje, social cohesion, indigenous rights and autonomy, and the implications of the demographic status of the native populations. Indigenous movements from different countries will serve as referents for the discussion.
