This symposium will discuss actual movements such as migration, commercial and financial flows, and the actors of those movements, which are responsible for the integration of the Americas into global economy. The contributions highlight actors, practices, objects, density and stability of networks produced by those movements. The symposium would like to present and discuss areas of work and results of the research network "Entre Espacios", which is closely connected with an international research training group and committed to globalisation studies from the Latin American point of view. This will be done from the perspectives of political science, sociology and economics.
